Charlotte International Equestrian Trade Show

Charlotte, NC

“The Charlotte Equestrian Show was a success in my book for anyone wanting to know.
I feel there will definitely be enough room for both shows. It was a beautiful drive, a beautiful location, a beautiful city and the temperature and weather was absolutely fantastic, up in the 70's today! It just made a person feel so good to be in a place where the flowers and trees were blooming and it was not freezing.
I booked 4 new vendors and 2 existing vendors, spent about $6000. It was very encouraging to see both English and Western side by side, especially for me since I carry lots of crossover items. So I am 2/3 done with my buying only have one more show in March to attend and that is the home decor, bedding, jewelry and gifts. Then all the budgeted money will be gone! Just waiting on spring.
Thank you, Kent and Ginger for putting on this show down here in the South!”
You will see me again.

“We had a fabulous experience at the Charlotte trade show.  The venue was easy to get to.  The accommodations were fabulous.  There were many attractions within walking distance.  If you had to fly in, you didn't need to rent a car, everything you needed was easily accessible.
The exhibitors were fantastic and offered great deals for the market.
I really hope this market takes off.  The weather is beautiful and the destination of Charlotte was outstanding.  We plan on attending the next show there.”

“It may have been a small show, but it was great for me.  I found some new companies that work well with small/mobile tack shops.  I loved meeting with Harjeet from Royal Highness and the group from Jack's Mfg.  And to top it off, I was able to drive up from Florida!  Everyone - exhibitors, the show staff, and the convention center staff - were all very helpful and cheerful.
It was a great experience and I look forward to future trade shows in Charlotte.

I'd like to see Devon-aire, Intrepid International, Austin Accent/Fashion West, Congress Leather, AWST, Smoky Mountain Boots, and English Riding Supply.
Thank you for your hard work putting this together!”

"This was my first equestrian trade show. Being a smaller business, I don't really have the resources to travel as far as PA or CO to attend one, so when I heard from one of my distributors that there was a show coming to Charlotte (practically in my back yard), I was thrilled to be able to attend.
Although it was a smaller show, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The exhibitors were super attentive, their displays were done nicely, and everyone (especially you and the other ladies who checked us in) was very friendly and helpful. The venue itself was easy to locate, with great restaurants in the immediate area.
By attending a show, I discovered how nice it is to not have to work so hard to get in touch with distributors and practically jump through hoops to get on as a dealer with their company. Instead, companies are competing for my business, and it's very refreshing.  I also discovered that there are many smaller companies that I didn't even know about that I will now be happy to deal with. It makes such a difference when you can actually see and touch the items in person, and are not just looking at a picture online.
The only suggestion that I would have would be to really push the advertising that you're doing about the trade show. Only one of the companies that I deal with (American Saddlery) mentioned the show to me, or I would not have known about it. This was a well put together show, in an awesome venue, and it's wonderful for dealers like myself in the southeast to have a trade show of our own to attend. I sincerely hope that these shows continue here for a long time, and that more exhibitors realize the importance of having a show in the southeast. I for one will be back each and every time!
Thank you to everyone who exhibited at the show, and to you Ginger, and all those who organized it. See you in August!"

"I loved the show...For me it was great. It was definately convienant as I am only 25 minutes away from the venue.
The PA show was not easy for me to get to for the last 5 years. So this was refreshing  and great to reconnect with some of my suppliers face to face.  As I was on the verge of losing my business. And I also added some new ones to my arsenal of growing product lines..
Thank you Ginger and Kent for a job well done.. And I hope it grows..
I would love to see Intrepid International,Horseware Of Ireland, Waldhausen ,Perris and JPC added to this show..."
